Christian Mayer, whose childhood was spent in Taos Ski Valley, NM - (USA), is French from Papa's side: (Dadou Mayer), and Viennese Austrian from Mom's: (Ilse). Raised in the charming, European-style Hotel Edelweiss and world renown Hotel St. Bernard, he was educated in the traditions of hospitality, elegance, cordiality, & savoir-faire.
Christian has been living in France for over 16 years now, he's married to a lovely French Nurse, and a proud father of 2 girls. During many years of traveling Western Europe - first as a musician (saxophonist) and most recently as a professional driver (5 years chauffeur experience in Paris), he has accumulated a wealth of experience on European culture, historical anecdotes, and interesting perspectives on life as seen through the eyes of an American living abroad.
As a chauffeur, Christian has - since 1992- a French Driver's license , and extensive driving experience throughout: Brittany, Normandy, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Loire and Rhone Valleys, the Pyrenees, Haute-Savoie, Isere, and the Cote d'Azur regions of France, and in addition throughout: Switzerland, and parts of Austria, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and The Netherlands.
Your Guide/Chauffeur speaks American English and French fluently - also Spanish, German, some Italian etc...
